Ultimate Flat Matte Vinyl Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl

Ultimate Flat is matte taken all the way down. No gloss, no satin sheen, just a deep velvety surface that swallows light and gives the body one clean stealth look from any angle. It sits flat in bright sun and stays flat in the shade, so the car reads as one solid tone instead of a mirror full of reflections.
It is a real color wrap, not a coating you spray on. The polymeric vinyl lays over your existing panels and takes the daily hits for them, guarding the factory paint from light scratches, sun and road grime while it changes the look. When you want a different finish later, it comes back off and the original paint is still there underneath.

Key features
- Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
- Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
How long will an Ultimate Flat wrap last?
With good care an Ultimate Flat wrap holds its deep flat look for years. A car that lives in a garage or under cover keeps that even matte tone longest, since constant sun and weather are what age any wrap fastest. Wash it by hand on a regular schedule and it stays looking fresh far longer than a neglected one.
Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?
It protects it. The Ultimate Flat vinyl sits on top of your factory paint and takes the light scratches, sun and road grime instead of the clear coat. As long as your paint is healthy and fully cured when it goes on, the wrap shields the surface the whole time it is on the car and the paint stays in good shape underneath.
How is Ultimate Flat different from a matte respray?
A matte respray is permanent, expensive and notoriously hard to repair, because you cannot polish a flat paint job without leaving shiny marks. Ultimate Flat gives you the same dead flat stealth look for less, it goes on faster, and it comes off when you want a change. Your original paint stays factory the entire time, which a respray cannot offer.
How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?
This is the part that trips people up, so read it first. Never wax, polish or machine buff Ultimate Flat. Any of those will leave shiny patches in the matte surface and you cannot undo it. Hand wash only with a matte safe soap, skip the automatic brush washes, and wipe off fuel spills, bug splatter and bird mess quickly before they sit. That is the whole routine and the flat finish stays even.
Can I install Ultimate Flat myself?
Yes, plenty of DIY installers do. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the channels in the glue let trapped air escape and you get far fewer bubbles while you work. You can run it dry or wet. Flat panels like a hood or roof are very beginner friendly. Deep curves and bumpers take patience and heat, so take your time or hand those to an installer.
Does Ultimate Flat come off cleanly later?
It does. When you are ready for a change, warm the vinyl with a heat source and peel it back at a low angle and it lifts away. On healthy factory paint it leaves the surface clean. Any light adhesive left behind comes off with a proper adhesive remover, so you are back to your original finish without the commitment of paint.
Will the finish stay flat or turn shiny over time?
It stays flat as long as you treat it as matte. The surface is built to be non-reflective, but waxing, polishing, buffing or harsh brush washes are what create shiny spots on any matte wrap. Stick to hand washing with a matte safe soap and the Ultimate Flat surface keeps its even, no gloss look across the whole car.
How much Ultimate Flat film do I need for my car?
The rolls are 1.52m wide, which is about 5 feet, and come in 6m, 18m and 23m lengths. A small car or a part wrap like a roof and mirrors often fits in 6m. A typical sedan full wrap usually lands around the 18m roll, and larger cars, SUVs or trucks are safer with 23m so you have extra for curves and mistakes. When unsure, size up, since spare film saves you mid job.
