Charm Red is a deep, glossy red with real warmth to it. In direct sun it reads bright and lively, and as the light drops it pulls into a richer, deeper tone. It gives flat factory paint the kind of color and depth that turns heads in a parking lot, without the plastic look you get from cheap film.

The difference here is that the color is doing two jobs at once. This is paint protection film, not vinyl, so the same layer that gives you the red also takes the hits. Rock chips, road grime, light scratches, bug splatter and wash swirls land on the film instead of your factory paint. You get the new color you want and the original paint stays sealed and safe underneath.

How long does Charm Red PPF last on my car?

This film is backed by an 8-year warranty. The TPU base and cashew topcoat are built to hold the red and stay glossy through years of sun, rain and washing, so with normal driving and basic care it keeps doing its job for the long haul.
Is colored PPF different from a vinyl wrap?

Yes, and it matters. A vinyl wrap only decorates the surface. Charm Red is paint protection film, so it changes the color and shields the paint at the same time. At 7.5mil (330um) thick it absorbs rock chips and scratches that vinyl would pass straight through to your clear coat.
Does this red film really self-heal?

It does. The cashew topcoat is self-healing, so light swirl marks and fine scratches close up on their own with a little warmth from the sun or warm water. That keeps the Charm Red looking glossy and even instead of going dull and scratched over time.
Will the Charm Red color fade in the sun?

This film blocks 95 to 98 percent of UV, which is the main thing that fades color and chalks paint. That UV block protects both the red itself and the factory paint sealed under it, so the color stays deep and true for years rather than washing out.
Can I take it off later without wrecking my paint?

Yes. When you are ready for a change the film removes cleanly and leaves your original paint the way it was underneath. Because it has been shielding the paint the whole time, that factory finish is usually in better shape than an unwrapped car of the same age.
How much film do I need for my vehicle?

The roll is 1.52m wide and comes in 3m, 6m, 9m and 15m lengths. A motorcycle or a few panels can be done with a shorter roll, while a full sedan or SUV usually needs 15m or more. Measure the panels you want in Charm Red and add a little for trimming and overlap.
Can I install Charm Red PPF myself?

You can. This is a wet install film, so you lay down slip solution and squeegee it into place, which gives you room to reposition before it sets. A patient DIYer can wrap smaller panels at home. Full-car coverage with tight curves is where many people choose a pro installer.
How do I keep Charm Red looking its best?

Treat it like good paint. Wash with a pH-neutral soap, skip harsh brushes and rinse off bird droppings and bug splatter quickly. The self-healing topcoat handles the small stuff, and a gentle hand wash keeps the gloss and color sharp for the long haul.
