Lime Grey Twin Color Color-Shift Car Wrap | Chameleon Vinyl
🎉 Free Shipping! Ready to ship
Lime Grey Twin Color is built to play tricks in the light. Catch it head on under bright sun and the panel glows a sharp metallic lime. Walk around the car or let the light drop and that lime cools down into a smoky grey, with a green halo still riding the body lines. It is one wrap that reads as two very different cars depending on where you stand.
This is a real color-shift chameleon film, not a flat single tone. The metallic flake catches every angle, so the lime and grey trade places as you move. While it gives your ride that head-turning flip, it also lays a tough vinyl skin over your factory paint and takes the daily hits from sun, dust and car wash brushes instead of the clear coat underneath.

Key features
- Color shifts as you move: layered pigment flips the shade with the viewing angle and the light, so the car looks alive in motion and never the same in two photos.
- Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
- Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
- Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
- Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
- UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions
What makes the lime and grey flip back and forth?
The film carries a layer of metallic flake that bounces light differently depending on your viewing angle and how bright it is. Face the panel straight on in strong light and you get bright lime. Step to the side or move into shade and it shifts toward grey. Nothing turns it on or off, the flip happens on its own as you and the light move around the car.
What two colors does this one actually show?
Lime Grey runs between a sharp metallic lime green and a deeper smoky grey. In full sun the green is loud and clear. As the angle steepens or the light fades, the grey takes over while a green glow hangs on the edges and curves. Most owners get both looks every time they walk up to the car.
Will wrapping hurt my factory paint?
No. The wrap actually guards the paint it sits on. The vinyl takes the sun, grit and wash-brush wear that would otherwise land on your clear coat. As long as your existing paint is healthy and well stuck down, the film protects it while it is on the car.
How is this different from getting a real color-flip paint job?
A true two-tone color-shift paint job is one of the most expensive and time-consuming things you can do to a car, and fixing or changing it later is a nightmare. This wrap gives you that same lime-to-grey flip for a fraction of the cost, goes on far faster, and peels back off when you want a change. Your original paint stays untouched underneath the whole time.
Can I install this myself at home?
Yes. The film uses a Henkel solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive, so trapped air pushes out through channels in the glue instead of leaving bubbles. You can run it dry or wet. A first-timer should plan on doing flat panels like the roof and hood first, then work up to bumpers and mirrors. A heat gun, a squeegee and patience go a long way.
How do I wash and care for it?
Hand wash with a soft mitt and a gentle car shampoo, then rinse and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Skip harsh solvents and rough automatic brushes. Get bird droppings, bug splatter and fuel spills off quickly so they do not sit on the surface. Treated well it holds its flip for years, and a garage-kept car will keep that lime-grey pop even longer.
Does it come off cleanly later?
Yes. When the film has been applied to sound factory paint and you remove it with gentle heat, it lifts away without tearing up the clear coat. Warm each section, peel at a low angle and take your time. Any light adhesive left behind wipes off with a proper adhesive remover.
How much film do I need for my car?
The roll is 1.52m (5ft) wide, which covers most panels in single pieces. A small hatchback or coupe usually takes around 15m to 18m for a full wrap, a sedan 18m to 22m, and a large SUV or truck more. Buy a little extra so you have room for mistakes and for wrapping mirrors, door jambs and tight curves.
