Twin Color Metallic Purple Pink Color-Shift Car Wrap | Chameleon Vinyl
$190.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Purple Pink

This Twin Color wrap lives between two shades and never picks just one. Catch it head on and you get a deep metallic purple. Roll past it or move into brighter light and the whole panel warms into a vivid pink, with a fine metallic sparkle riding the flip the entire way. It is one film doing the work of two colors, changing every time the angle or the sun changes.

It is a real color-shift vinyl, so the flip comes from the film itself and not from a coating that fades. Laid over your factory paint it gives you the head-turning purple to pink look while the original finish stays sealed underneath, protected from daily grit, light scratches, sun and weather. When you want your stock color back, the wrap comes off and the paint is still there.

Key features

  • Color shifts as you move: layered pigment flips the shade with the viewing angle and the light, so the car looks alive in motion and never the same in two photos.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions

What two colors does this Twin Color wrap actually show?

It moves between metallic purple and pink. Look at it straight on in flatter light and it reads as a rich purple. As you walk around the car or the light gets brighter, it warms up and shifts toward pink, with a metallic shimmer running through the whole change. The two tones trade places constantly, so the car looks different from every angle.

How does the color-shift effect work and what makes it flip?

The flip is built into the film, not painted on. The way light hits the surface and the angle you view it from decide which tone you see at that moment. Move the car into sun, drive past a row of streetlights or just walk around it, and the purple and pink swap back and forth on their own. Nothing you do to maintain it changes the effect, it is part of the vinyl.

Will this wrap damage my paint or actually protect it?

It protects it. The vinyl sits on top of your factory paint and shields it from road grime, light scratches, sun and weather. The paint underneath stays in its original condition while it is wrapped, which is one reason a wrap is kinder to your car than a permanent respray.

How is this different from a custom purple to pink paint job?

A true color-flip paint job is one of the most expensive and difficult finishes a shop can spray, and if it ever gets damaged it is very hard to match and repair. This wrap gives you that same purple to pink shift for far less, it goes on much faster, it shields your real paint instead of replacing it, and you can peel it off later. A custom paint job is permanent. This is not.

Can I install it myself with the air-release adhesive?

Yes. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so trapped bubbles can be pushed out to the edge instead of leaving a permanent lump. You can run it dry or wet depending on what you are comfortable with. Take your time on curves and bumpers, work with a heat gun and a squeegee, and a patient first-timer can get clean results on flatter panels.

Does it remove cleanly when I want it off?

When you are ready for a change, the wrap is made to peel away and leave your factory paint behind. Removing it gently, ideally with a little warmth, helps it lift in clean sheets. Because the color lives in the film, taking the wrap off simply returns the car to its original stock color.

How do I wash and care for this wrap?

Hand washing is the way to keep the purple to pink shift looking its best. Use a gentle car soap, a soft mitt and rinse well, then dry with a clean microfiain towel so you do not leave water spots that dull the metallic flip. Skip harsh solvents and stiff brushes. Keeping the car garaged out of constant sun helps the film hold its look for longer.

How much film do I need for my car?

It depends on the size of your vehicle and whether you are doing the full car or just a few panels like the hood, roof or mirrors. The film comes on a roll 1.52m wide, which is 5ft, so you can plan coverage from there. A compact car needs noticeably less than a large SUV or truck, and most people add a little extra for trimming, mistakes and wrapping edges.
