Metallic Stone Green Matte Car Wrap | Polymeric Vinyl
$200.00 USD
1.52*6m(5*20ft) / Stone Green

Metallic Stone Green lands somewhere between weathered sage and a deep military olive, with a fine metallic flake that wakes up in daylight without ever turning glossy. The finish stays flat and non-reflective, so the color reads as one calm, even tone instead of bouncing light back at you. It is the kind of green that looks understated in a parking lot and serious on the open road.

This is a color wrap, not a coating. The polymeric vinyl lays a fresh matte skin over your factory paint and takes the daily hits of dust, light scuffs, sun and washing so the panel underneath stays sealed and protected. When you want a change later, it comes off and gives you back the paint you started with.

Side by side comparison of a car finished in Metallic Stone Green matte vinyl wrap versus a costly matte respray

Key features

  • Flat matte finish: a non-reflective topcoat gives the factory-flat, no-shine look that paint cannot match without a costly custom job.
  • Hides minor flaws: the matte surface softens light, so it disguises small swirls and imperfections instead of spotlighting them like gloss does.
  • Air-release adhesive: built-in air channels push bubbles out, so the film lays flat and you can reposition as you work.
  • Conforms to curves: the polymeric PVC stretches over mirrors, bumpers and body lines for a smooth, seamless wrap.
  • Protects the paint underneath: the wrap takes the daily wear while your factory paint stays sealed and original.
  • Removable: peels off cleanly later with heat, so you can change the look or go back to stock.
  • UV and weather resistant: the topcoat holds up to sun and rain across a -30 to +140 degree range.

Frequently asked questions

How long will a Metallic Stone Green matte wrap last?

With good care it holds its flat, stealthy look for years. The matte finish and metallic flake stay even as long as you hand wash it and skip any wax or polish. Cars kept in a garage and out of constant harsh sun keep that deep green tone looking fresh the longest, while a daily driver parked outside will age a little faster.

Will the wrap damage my paint, or does it protect it?

It protects it. The vinyl sits on top of your factory paint as a removable layer, taking the dust, light scuffs and sun so the panel underneath stays sealed. As long as your paint is healthy and well stuck down before you start, Metallic Stone Green wraps over it cleanly and shields it the whole time it is on.

How is this different from a matte respray in green?

A matte paint job in this kind of green is expensive, permanent and very hard to repair because matte clear cannot be polished out. This wrap gives you the same flat Stone Green look for far less, it does not touch your original paint, and if you scratch a panel you re-wrap that one section instead of repainting the car. When you are done, it peels off and the factory color is still there.

How do I wash and care for a matte wrap?

This is the most important part. Never wax, polish or machine-buff a matte wrap, because any of those will leave shiny patches in the flat Stone Green finish that you cannot undo. Hand wash with a matte-safe soap and a soft mitt, skip the automatic brush car washes, and rinse off fuel spills, bird mess and tree sap as soon as you spot them so they do not stain the film.

Can I install this wrap myself?

Yes. The Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive is air-release, so the tiny channels in the glue let trapped air escape and you can reposition the film as you work instead of fighting instant tack. Patient DIY installers do single panels at home with heat and a squeegee, though full cars and tight curves go smoother with a second pair of hands or a pro.

Does the wrap come off cleanly later?

It does. When you are ready for a change, warm the Metallic Stone Green film with gentle heat and peel it back slowly and it lifts away, leaving the factory paint underneath. Removing it while the film is still healthy and not letting it bake untouched for many years in the sun gives the cleanest result with little to no adhesive left behind.

Will it stay matte, or go shiny over time?

It stays matte as long as you care for it the matte way. The flat look does not fade into gloss on its own, but rubbing it with wax, polish, a buffer or harsh chemicals will burn shiny spots into the finish. Stick to hand washing and matte-safe products and the Stone Green stays evenly flat across every panel.

How much film do I need for my car?

The rolls are 1.52m (5ft) wide and come in 6m, 18m and 23m lengths. As a rough guide, 18m suits most sedans and small SUVs for a full wrap, 23m covers larger SUVs, trucks and vans with margin for mistakes, and the 6m roll is great for a roof, hood, mirrors or accent panels. When in doubt, size up so you have spare for the curves and any re-do.
